Gujarat International Trade Promotion Council
(GITPC)
In order to promote export from
Gujarat, the Government has constituted GITPC under the chairmanship of
Chief Secretary to the State Government.
ROLE:
-
To establish contacts with prospective
buyers in international market
-
To explore possibilities in export markets
and identify products and services having export potential
-
To educate potential exporters on World
marketing trends, tariffs and duties prevailing overseas
-
To undertake corporate/product publicity
abroad
-
To publish regular, specialised publications
featuring opportunities in international markets
-
To organise conferences and seminars
and participate in trade fairs and exhibitions to ensure business interaction
-
To undertake foreign market studies
and surveys
-
To organise trade missions to explore
new markets, lay down quality and packing standards conforming to international
norms
-
To disseminate the information and create
awareness amongst exporters

Facilitates listing of prospective buyers and sellers of various products

Effective Liaison with State & Central
Government Agencies, Export Promotion Councils and Foreign Embassies

Arrangement of trade delegation visits
in India and abroad

MEMBERSHIP:
GITPC registers members on annual
basis for a period starting from 1st October upto 30th September every
year.
Membership strength is approximately
200 (yearly).
Membership Fee* :
Rs.500.00 to be paid by Demand Draft in favour of "iNDEXTb - A/c
GITPC", payable at Gandhinagar, India.
