The above institutions form a strong network striving towards excellence. However, realising that the prospect of dealing with each individual organisation may prove intimidating for an investor, in 1978, the Government of Gujarat formed a single window co-ordination agency - iNDEXTb (Industrial Extension Bureau).  A pioneering set up of its kind in India, iNDEXTb is the "single point contact" for an entrepreneur wishing to set up an industrial venture in Gujarat. 

A dedicated institutional network makes Gujarat one of the most investor-friendly States in INDIA.
